The island of Aitutaki is located in the Cook Islands' Southern Group of islands approximately 200 kilometers north of Rarotonga ( the main island ). This map shows the main island of Aitutaki and the smaller islands of Ee Mangere, Angarei, Akitua and Rapota in the lagoon. Small islets called ' motu ' follow the eastern boundary of the lagoon and at the southern tip can be found the location of the well-known TV series - Survivor Cook Islands.
